Meet Our Surgeon

Mark S. Milner, M.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist and with advanced fellowship training in corneal medicine and surgery as well as external disease of the eye and uveitis.

Dr. Milner received his B.S. degree from Union College and earned his M.D. degree from the S.U.N.Y Health Science Center, Syracuse, NY. He interned in Internal Medicine at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ and completed his residency in ophthalmology at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, New York City, NY. Moreover, Dr. Milner graduated from a fellowship in cornea, external disease of the eye and uveitis at the University of California, San Francisco, CA.

Dr. Milner serves as an Associate Clinical Professor at the Yale University School of Medicine’s Department of Ophthalmology where he has been affiliated since 1995. He is a member of the American Board of Ophthalmology, the American Medical Association, and serves as a member and lectures for the Connecticut Society of Eye Physicians. He is also a member of the International Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the Ocular Microbiology & Immunology Group and the New Haven County Medical Society and the American college of Surgeons. In addition, Dr. Milner is co-founder and Medical Director of Precision LASIK Group in Cheshire, CT where he has performed thousands of successful Laser Vision Correction procedures; He is also a founding member of CEDARS (Cornea External Disease and Refractive Surgery) Society.

Dr. Milner has a background in research, has authored various publications, and has been interviewed by several magazines, newspapers, radio and television shows about his refractive and corneal expertise. In 2016, he was selected on the list of Ocular Surgery News (OSN) Premier Surgeon 300 as one of the top 300 premier surgeons and leading innovators, in the U.S., in the field of refractive cataract surgery.
