Jenny Temnogorod, M.D

Jenny Temnogorod, M.D. is a board certified ophthalmologist and a fellowship trained oculoplastic surgeon, focusing on disorders of the eyelids, orbit and tear ducts. She specializes in the treatment of benign and malignant eyelid lesions, droopy eyelids (ptosis), lower lid malposition (ectropion/entropion), eyelid defects after trauma or MOHS surgery, excessive blinking (blepharospasm), tearing, thyroid eye disease, orbital tumors, and orbital fractures, among many other related conditions.

Dr. Temnogorod grew up in Brooklyn, NY. She developed a passion for ophthalmology from a young age and was accepted into a competitive, dual degree (BA and MD) program from high school. She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Brooklyn College and magna cum laude with a doctor of medicine degree from the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center. She then completed residency training in ophthalmology at Downstate Medical Center and a fellowship in oculoplastic surgery at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, one of the top eye hospitals in the country. Dr. Temnogorod is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Temnogorod is fluent in Russian. She has a passion for travel, having visited 4 continents, more than 20 countries and counting. When not working or traveling, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, preferably outdoors.
